Dear Group Organiser

We warmly welcome groups to visit the Poppy Factory to see the poppies and wreaths being made and to learn about its history. You could take part in one of two guided tours daily starting at 10.30am and at 1.30pm, Monday to Thursday. The tour takes about 1hr 30 minutes and we give you a cup of tea and biscuits!

NUMBERS
We can accommodate up to 42 people at a time and we combine smaller groups together.

BOOKINGS
In addition to adult groups, we very much like to encourage and welcome young people in, for example, school, scout and guide groups (above the age of 6). We also welcome disabled groups together with carers for wheelchair users.

Visits to the Poppy Factory are very popular and we recommend booking ahead as far as possible. 

POPPY FACTORY ENTRANCE/PARKING
You will find the Factory entrance on the Petersham Road opposite the Hobart Hall Hotel just a few hundred yards from Richmond Bridge and passengers can be set down here. The visitor entrance is through the pedestrian gate at the side of the large double gates, through the car park to the glass entrance porch.
You can park your coach and cars at The Old Deer Park in Richmond off the A316 westbound about 5 minutes from the Factory. There is unfortunately no parking at the Factory.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The Factory is only about 15 minutes walk or a 65 bus journey from Richmond Station which is at the end of the District Line. You can also reach Richmond on the main line from Waterloo Station.
The 65 bus also runs from Kingston bus terminal to the Petersham Road near the Factory entrance.

REFRESHMENTS
As mentioned before, we welcome you with complimentary tea and biscuits at the start of the tour.
If you wish you can also take lunch at 1.15pm in our self-service restaurant (the afternoon tour then starts at 2pm). You can book and pay for your lunch in advance by contacting our caterers on 020 8939 1832.

DONATIONS 
You can make a donation to the Poppy Factory: donations are always welcome and very much appreciated. There are donation boxes in the Showroom. Cheques (made payable to The Royal British Legion Poppy Factory) are also very welcome – we do not have card facilities.
We would be grateful if you did not offer gratuities to members of staff.

GIFTWARE
You can buy a small selection of souvenir giftware available from our shop.
